Winding Path

The late afternoon sunlight shone through the spidery branches and cast a nifty diagonal shadow on the path that zigged and zagged through the Japanese Garden in Rockford.

I photographed it from several angles and will probably paint it again and again.

      P.S. I'm not familiar with Illinois alas. Is this the Anderson Japanese Gardens or am I thinking of something else?

      Yes, yes it IS the Anderson Japanese Gardens. Your thinking is correct. I was there on the perfect leaf-color day in the most dramatic afternoon light.
